General Data Protection Regulation
The GDPR is Europe's new framework for data protection laws – it replaces the previous 1995 data protection directive, which current UK law is based upon.
Individuals, organisations, and companies that are either 'controllers' or 'processors' of personal data are covered by the GDPR
Education Animals GDPR Policy:
Data we collect from you when you enter any of our competitions includes:
Your name, your address & your email address.
Your personal data is stored on a password protected computer and is only accessible by the business owner – Miss Zoe Adey. Further more, the spreadsheet used to record your data is also further password protected and inaccessible to any other persons.
We retain your information so that when you enter future competitions your details are easily accessible for sending out prizes & rosettes without the need to keep asking you for it.
We do not hold any further information about you, nor do we record any sensitive data (as defined by the GDPR Framework)
We do not use your data for any other purpose. We do not pass your data onto any other 3rd parties.
Opt in – By entering any of the competitions run by Education Animals (Including, but not limited to, Paws for a Picture & Paws Obedience Challenge) you are deemed to have opted in to agreeing with our GDPR policy & give consent for us to hold your name, address and email address.
You have the right to ask to see the information we currently hold about you and we have 1 month to comply.
If you no longer wish us to hold any data for you, you can send an email to [email protected] stating which information you wish us to remove from our system.
Requests made by Facebook are not deemed to be a legal request and will not be responded to.
If you subsequently enter a future competition you will have opted back in and will need to re-apply via email again in order for us to remove you from our records.
